This poet will draw the reader out of his or her shell, whether you are an immigrant/bi-racial/minority or not the words between the pages of this book will leave their mark and resonate in your soul. As a Irish/Hispanic the words leap off the page and slice open wounds I never truly felt. Fior has helped me connect to a voice deep within me that hasn’t been heard loudly enough until now. I’m ordering another copy for my mother and recommending it to my sisters, cousins (primas y primos), my father, my brothers, tios & tias, and all others I can think of. I am proud to have this title on my shelf and can’t wait to discover more by this poetic artist.
